Three Minute Majors

Tonight started the new hockey season, and with the new season brought a new advanced team, Three Minute Majors. I will admit I was a little nervous about playing in the advanced league, especially since I haven’t skated a whole lot in the last 7 months. It went really well though. In a win of 10-4 I had a goal and 2 assists. I am really looking forward to this season, and hope it improved my game!

Hockey Championships

It was a fun night of hockey tonight! It started out with a semi-final game for the Starpucks at 7. It was a well fought game, and we fell behind quickly. We were down by 3 goals in the 2nd, but came back hard and ended up winning! It was a good start to the evening. That was followed by the championship game at 9. This game wasn’t as close, and we won it hands down. Another picture and t-shirt for the team! We barely got time to celebrate before the Championship game for the Sucinubis began at 10. This game was close from the start, a battle of the goalies. The score stayed 1-1 for most of the game until I had a not so pretty goal with about 5 minutes to go in the game. Scott sealed the deal with another goal with a minute or so left. Another picture and another t-shirt! I ended up getting MVP in this game, I guess due to my not so pretty goal, that was technically the game winner. Works for me though! It was another great, long night of hockey! We start up next week in a new season, I will be playing Advanced now, so it could be interesting!
